Quick Start

Taking a screenshot

1. Navigate to the page with the bug.
2. Click the Glitch icon in your toolbar.
3. Click Screenshot.
4. The annotation editor opens — draw, blur, or annotate as needed.
5. Click Save Report — a .html file saves to your Downloads folder.

Recording a tab

1. Click the Glitch icon.
2. Click Record Tab.
3. A recording overlay appears at the bottom of the screen — you’ll see a live timer.
4. Reproduce the bug. Use the annotation tools in the overlay to draw attention to issues.
5. Click Stop in the overlay.
6. The video editor opens — trim if needed, then click Save Report.

Sharing a report

After saving, open the .html report file in your browser. Use the Share menu in the top right to send it directly to Slack, Jira, GitHub, or GitLab.

Instant Replay

If the bug already happened before you started recording:

1. Click the Glitch icon.
2. Click Share Last Minute.
3. Glitch flushes the 2-minute rolling buffer and opens the video editor.
