Installation
Glitch is a Chrome extension. Install it from the Chrome Web Store in under a minute — no account, no sign-up.
Steps
- Visit the Chrome Web Store — search for “Glitch bug reporter” or use the direct link in the nav.
- Click “Add to Chrome” — Chrome will ask for permission confirmation.
- Pin the extension — click the puzzle piece icon in the Chrome toolbar, find Glitch, and click the pin icon.
- Click the Glitch icon on any webpage — the popup will open and you’re ready to capture.
Requirements
- Google Chrome version 112 or later
- Windows, macOS, or Linux
Note: Glitch uses
tabCapturefor screen recording, which is a Chrome-only API. Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.
Permissions
Glitch requests the following permissions during install:
