Release notes

Changelog.

New features, fixes, and improvements — most recent first.

  • Smarter network capture — cross-origin and policy-blocked responses no longer show as broken errors. They’re tagged accurately as opaque-by-policy so the real errors stand out.
  • Error markers on the video timeline — the report’s video seekbar now shows pink dots at the exact moments errors happened during the recording. Click a dot to jump straight there.
  • Draggable text annotations — text drawn during a recording can now be repositioned by dragging it on the canvas.
  • Live microphone toggle — the popup mic toggle now controls active recordings in real time, not just the pre-record setting.
  • Searchable Slack channel picker — Settings → Slack default channel now searches across your workspace instead of paginating.
  • Jira polish — issue types are scoped to your specific project, duplicates are removed, share dialog gets a copy-link button, and the resulting issue URL is correct on first try.
  • Dark-mode input visibility — typed text in share dialogs is now readable on dark themes.
  • Popup header refinements — tighter lockup, globe icon for the website link, and a Support section in Settings.
  • Website launchglitched.wtf is now live with docs, changelog, and demo.

Initial Chrome Web Store release.

  • Local-first bug reporting — recordings, screenshots, and reports stay on your machine. No cloud, no account, no subscription.
  • One-click capture — tab or full-desktop screen recording and full-page or area screenshots
  • Live annotation during recording — pen, arrow, rectangle, text, and blur tools draw straight onto the video as you record
  • Annotation editor for screenshots — same tools, plus crop and undo/redo
  • Full debug capture in every report — console messages, network requests, WebSocket traffic, Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP, FCP, TTFB), storage snapshot, and full environment info
  • Self-contained HTML reports — every capture is one file that opens anywhere, no viewer required
  • Share to Slack, Jira, GitHub, or GitLab — or save the report directly to your local Downloads folder
  • Light and dark themes that sync instantly across the popup, settings, recording overlay, and downloaded reports
  • Microphone audio baked into recordings when you enable the mic toggle
  • Auto-redaction of API keys, JWTs, auth headers, and other sensitive patterns before they reach the report
